Itinerary description
Chões - Gruta de Alcobertas.
This is a well marked loop trail starting from the Terra Cha Restaurant & Cultural Center. It passes through the village of Chãos and then follows a trail up to an ancient cave. You also pass very near a few wind generators. Normally the view from the top are fantastic. On the day of this hike the mountain was covered in cloud.
Note: This trail passes by the cave but you can only enter the cave as part of a tour. Tours can be arranged at Terra Chá Restaurant.
