Itinerary description
https://discovermadeira.blogspot.com/2020/07/as-cascatas-da-lombada-chamusca-e-sao.html
Lombada in Ponta Delgada is one of the places on the north coast of Madeira that offers many interesting options: Poço das Pulgas, Rabo do Burro Waterfall, Canyoning in Ribeira da Camisa, Picnic Park, climbing to Topo das Queimadas, etc. ...
Today we are going to address two waterfalls that can be visited without much effort.
The trail starts next to the bar A Vereda with the appropriate sign to the waterfalls.
Although it is possible to drive in the steep cement road, we recommend that you take the route calmly on foot as it is not very long and you can enjoy the panoramic landscape more calmly.
After finishing the climb, you will find the bifurcation with the signs indicating Cascata da Chamusca on one side and Cascata São Nicolau on the other.
When the route is clean it can be done without great difficulties. Even so, some caution will be necessary in the final approach to the Chamusca waterfall next to the well that overflows some water.
Have a good walk!

Olá Luis,
we did this "walk" this year more or less at the same time , but it was only a part of our Lombada-Tour.*
Some years before we discover the Chamusca (without signs).**
It´s nice that now there are some new hints for hidden places like these (and Poco das Pulgas ...;-))
Obrigada pela todos informações
Hallo Luis,

Information
Easy to follow
Scenery
Moderate
The trail is in winter time very wet and in case you want to see the waterfall from short distance you have to make your shoes wet. The stones can be slippery as well, so be carefull.
