Itinerary description
We took the bus to the Université Jacob. From the bus stop you could probably find a better route through the university area to the Sentier des Cascades so that you didn't have to go down and then up again.
When you come up to the road at the top waterfall the access to the trail is up a little path just before the bridge. However this route involves crossing the Nant du Pontet which might be dangerous if the stream is in flood, and in this case it would be better to detour via Secheron.
Lovely views both sides when you reach the Croix de la Coche, and as you descend the ridge. And nice paths in the return to Chambéry.
