Itinerary description
The route starts from Chaliki and follows the road to Peristeri. It then leaves the main valley and follows a side valley by a rarely used footpath. Care is needed when the path exits the forest. After crossing by a small waterfall the path (overgrown but walkable) climbs to a pen at Stournara and then follows the road to Plakes with another pen and water trough. From there without a distinct path we climb to the ridge and traverse until a small col below Mega Trapos peek (2230m) the second highest in Peristeri. Continue traversing the ridge until you reach the col below Tsoukarela. From there follow the signed trail to Chaliki. Takes approximately 10 hours including stops.
