Itinerary description
To get to the start of this hike you need a boat. It starts near the jetty of an old whaling station and the hike goes inland following a fairly well defined path. You pass the ruins of an old Leper Colony. Abandoned buildings with trees growing through them. The hike then returns to the coast and goes along the remains of an old road. Next the path joins a proper road which rises to the light house. It is a long up hill stretch with out much shaded. The view from the light house is worth the walk. Return to the main quayside.
