Itinerary description
My first hike to gunung chabang. trail head is at Kampung orang asli POS Slim which is on the way to Camerons Highlands using the Simpang Pulai way. Pay RM15 to the orang asli to take care of your cars parked at their settlement. start hike from a narrow pathway just from their kampung. trail is steep with lots of crawling and bending under trees and bamboos with three simple river crossings. lots of leeches but once you have completed the steep hike at one point of the trail which is after the third river crossing - the view near the peak is very beautiful. not so great mossy but still have mossy at this point till the peak.
