Itinerary description

Parking in Cetinje, this trail will give you great views on Skarda Lake. Mixed trail, partially marked, a bit of paved road. There is an awesome cave on trail. The way back up it a tad steep:-)
Not suitable for biking because of stony steps.
GPS recommended because the trail is partially grown over (especially where it goes into the forest from the road).
From the cave, which is currently being developed for tourism, you have to back track about 50 meters past the right side of the house.
There is a nice looking restaurant on trail.

Entry to Trail

The trail into the forest is a bit hard to find, but it will widen after a few meters.

good trail! grat views on the valley! however nobody everseems to walk it, there where plenty of (thick!!!) spidders that had spinned their nets across the trail, was a bit awkward to walk. saw some snakes, too

Hey Piranha, thank you for the review:-) The spiders unfortuntely are everywhere this time of year. And they are quick rebuildung their nets.
I hope the snakes ran away and didn't attack! Most of the things tha tlook like snakes in that region are actually legless skinks (Sheltopusik). They are harmless and eat snakes.

But there are a few horned vipers out there as well.

Tried it in February (which is off season), and the lipa cave wasn't open for tourism. The restaurant that is on the trail wasn't open either, so we should have brought lunch (which we didn't think about, so it was a hangry trip). The trail itself however, is very nice. The forests are very peacefull and pretty, and because it was winter, there were no spiders or snakes around.

Nice route. The trail that hugs the village was quite overgrown, although passable. I'd recommend taking the road through the village for an easier time.
