Segundo día de la volanta. Descenso por la cara sur del Cerro Viejo a Huejotitán.

Our Hiking Group did this track. We started at Huejotitan, and hiked up the Mountain. The trail; was Tough going up the Arroyo, 1 dry waterfall was difficult to get up, or around. We lost the trail getting out of the arroyo up to the ridge. We had to turn back at ,N20.37168 W103.46251, ran out of time. We stayed out of the Arroyo , followed the Ridge down to the Trailhead.
Better to stay on the ridge for the lower part of the trail. Much better than the arroyo route in the original track. Theres an outcrop to bypass; go around to the west side.
It is easy to lost the trail in this area, some friends normally request some help from some people from Huejotitán. Let me know when you need someone helps to reach the knoll of the hill.

Hola Paco, el track es tal como yo lo seguí bajando del Cerro Viejo utilizando un garmin x30, El ~95% fue por sendero o camino aunque, un poco accidentado. Por la pendiente, aún un pequeño error del gps puede afectarte mucho y es fácil perder el sendero si no está bien marcado por las lluvias.
