Itinerary description
Fabulous hike up to Cerro Goye - route I took was steep up, gentler down involving some scrambling up rock face on ascent. Possible to avoid steep section by doing hike in reverse and coming back the same route as ascent once reaching summit. Note I took a wrong turn after reaching what I thought was summit and descended into forest before reascending - this is fairly obvious in the trail so just go straight on to the final summit with the cross. Fabulous walk - thoroughly recommended with stunning views. If you have the energy the steep uphill section is fun
