Itinerary description
Cerro Fitzroy at the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares in the Argentinan Patagonia offers superb hiking. The hike to the Laguna Torre is possibly the second best hike. It is an easy hike with great views. Those short on time or lacking good fitness can cut the hike short as it is possible to hike to the first mirador and already have a great view from there.
The nearest town is El Chaltén (near El Calafate), where there are plenty of accommodation and restaurants.
