Itinerary description
Very nice hike up on Cerro Chato. The trail is actually closed, but from The Green Lodge they let you up on their property (for $10 dollar pp) and from the old entrance of the park you’re on your own. Steep hike, kind of difficult, but really nice especially if you can see Volcan Arenal on top, at the water! We started from town, but didn’t track it from there. It will add two hours to the hike. Overall we went quite slow, lots of breaks!

Hola, este verano vamos a CR y te escribo a ver si me puedes aclarar una cosa, entiendo que habeis subido hasta Cerro Chato a pesar de estar prohibido o sí está permitido por los terrenos del hotel???
O parte de la caminata es legal y otra parte ilegal??
