Itinerary description
WARN: the elevation gain is not accurate, the whole journey is more than 23Km with at least 1400 D+.
The whole journey has one or two difficult passages, if the GPS track is followed. For a more easy route, simply do the same route as the ascent when summiting the Pizzo.
Part at Ceresola at the ski slopes parking lot (free). Follow the asphalt road, head straight into the forest and follow the route keeping the right. You'll reach passo del Grandazzo. Turn right, and follow the only route available till the Rifugio Grassi. You can stop for a meal, be sure to taste their grappe, there are more than 15 different types!
Continue the journey headed for Pian delle Parole, and now be ready for a steep climb... Chains are available when needed. You'll reach the top of Pizzo Tre Signori.
Now, continue on and be ready to get lost! There are multiple routes, you have to keep the left and head in one hike where you need free hand climbing, and there are a couple of difficult passages without chains. You'll eventually almost reach a lake, keep right and climb briefly till you reach again the pian delle Parole. Now follow the same route till the parking lot.
