Cerem linear route to Dobërdoll, the least traveled area in the Balkans. We begin the route by gently ascending a forest track that crosses a beech forest, leaving behind a bar on the right and a water fountain on our left, practically at the same height. Along the way we will find several viewpoints located to our right as we walk, with beautiful views of the landscape, green in the foreground, rocky in the background. In a short time we reached the border with Montenegro, a point that we located by a milestone that we found on our way: we look towards Albania and we see the limestone mountains in the background, if we look towards Montenegro, green forests of beech, pine and fir trees.
Next, we walk along a narrow, comfortable path, surrounded by vegetation and with high mountains as a backdrop. As we approach Cerem, the landscape is one of meadows and grasslands.
Cerem is a group of semi-nomadic shepherd houses, some scattered, some grouped less, in the valley. Before the arrival of winter and the first snow, the shepherds leave their homes with their livestock and go to the city until the snow thaws, when life returns to the valley. Many of the houses have been converted into hostels for hikers and mountaineers, coexisting livestock activity with active leisure, and there are several recently built Guesthouses for rent. There is no access to mobile phones, electricity grid or roads.
The route is of little difficulty.
