Itinerary description
Fun at night with the big group (see comment below). Bring plenty of water if you make it a daytime hike...no tree cover and very exposed to the elements...recommend a picnic at the apex. Great views by the antenna!

We did this hike as part of a group of more than 80 people...that's right 80+ people hiking at night up the tallest cerro that borders Pachuca - Cerro San Cristobal! We had great views of the glimmering city lights. And at the top, nice views od some of the surrounding towns. Great to complete the circuit as we did... going up was narrow, steep, and a bit overgrown at points, coming down was on the old mining road passing through Cerezo. Exhilarating time! Thanks to the Fundación Arturo Herrera Cabañas for making it happen!
