On this demanding tour you will come across the sites of two former mills, in the villages of Consdorf and Mullerthal. You hike past fascinating sandstone rock formations. You may start and finish this tour at the Heringer Millen in the village of Mullerthal. This mill once was once one of the most important mills in the region. The place now hosts a brasserie and a tourist center. You may also start and finish at the Konsdrëfer Millen where you can stop and have a local beer. Goldkaul, Goldfralaee, Eilebuerg, Schelmelee and Ramelee are the names of some of the rocks that you see on this tour. These peculiar names often refer to former myths and legends. The process of erosion makes some of the sandstone rock formations look like bizarre figures or faces. The Schiessentümpel is a picturesque waterfall on the Black Ernz. Its idyllic bridge made of stones and wood, the surrounding rocks and the lush vegetation, makes the Schiessentümpel one of the most popular spots in the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. Behind the Schiessentümpel there is a modern staircase construction, which was built to make the Schiessentümpel accessible again after the severe storms of 2018. From there, you hike over the plateau between Christnach and Waldbillig, offering you wide views of fields and meadows. The last stretch back to the starting point leads through the forest again, along the imposing sandstone cliffs that are typical of the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland.

Die anspruchsvolle Wandertour verbindet die Standorte zweier ehemaliger Mühlen in den Ortschaften Consdorf und Müllerthal und verläuft entlang faszinierender Sandsteinfelsen. Möglicher Start- und Zielpunkt der Tour ist die Heringer Millen in der Ortschaft Müllerthal, die einst zu den wichtigsten Mühlen in der Region gehörte. Dort befindet sich jetzt ein Restaurant sowie ein Touristcenter. Alternativer Start- und Zielpunkt ist die Konsdrefer Millen. Dort gibt es ebenfalls eine Einkehrmöglichkeit in der lokalen Brauerei. Goldkaul, Goldfralaee, Eilebuerg sowie Schelmelee und Ramelee sind die Namen einiger Felsen, an denen diese Tour vorbei führt. Die eigentümlichen Namen gehen häufig auf Mythen und Sagen zurück. Durch die Verwitterungsprozesse sehen die Sandsteinfelsen teilweise wie skurrile Figuren oder Gesichter aus. Der Schiessentümpel ist ein malerischer Wasserfall an der Schwarzen Ernz und befindet sich unmittelbar am Weg. Mit der idyllischen Brücke aus Stein und Holz, den umliegenden Felsen und der üppigen Vegetation ist der Schiessentümpel zu einem der beliebtesten Ausflugsziele in der Region Müllerthal – Kleine Luxemburger Schweiz geworden. Hinter dem Schiessentümpel schließt sich eine moderne Treppenkonstruktion an, die erbaut wurde um den Schiessentümpel nach den starken Unwettern 2018 wieder zugänglich zu machen. Der Wanderweg führt von dort aus auf die Hochebene zwischen Christnach und Waldbillig, wo sich ein weiter Blick über Felder und Wiesen auftut. Das letzte Stück zurück zum Ausgangspunkt führt wieder durch den Wald, entlang der imposanten Sandsteinfelsen, die typisch für die Region Müllerthal - Kleine Luxemburger Schweiz sind.
