Itinerary description
Centennial Ridge Trail in Kananaskis Valley was constructed in 1967 to commemorate Canada's 100th birthday. Running between Ribbon Creek parking area and Dead Mans Flat the route is 16km one way and recognized as the highest maintained trail in the Canadian Rockies. Midway along the trail is Mount Allan and at 2819m is the pinnacle of this hike, in fact many set out to conquer Mount Allan then double back to their start point.
