Itinerary description
A beautiful hike for a whole family. Start at the parking in front of the train station Gendron-Celles. Start your walk by going under the railroad bridge and over the river Lesse. You’ll follow the river more or less continuously till the impressive Chateau de Walzin (11 century). The Chateau is not open to the public, but it’s still a nice view. From here you have to return a bit to the first railroad bridge where the tour to the Chateau de Vêves (13 century) continues. The Chateau de Vêves is open to public from 10 till 17, but not every day, so check with the Chateau the openings hours beforehand. It’s a prolonged hike with a couple of ascents, but these are easy, even for kids. Watch the signs, especially at the end of the route, as they’re scarce.

Just finnished the trail. I was a little dissapointed that quite a lot of trail you must go next to the road. And on weekends a lot of cars and motorcycles on the road.
