Itinerary description
Rather short linear trail among beautiful endemic cedars along E4 route. Breathtaking views of Troodos range, Morfou bay and Pafos forest hilltops.
On the way you may as well see plenty of endemic golden oaks and strawberry trees.
This area is also a habitat of endemic mouflons and you may be lucky to spot them.
TERRAIN: wide dirt gravel road all the way. Constant ascent to the fire lookout station and then descent.
SEASON: trail is shady for about 30-40%. In winter there may be snow at these heights.
SIGNS: no signs of the trail, but it is evident. There are maps at the both ends of the trail. You may look for E4 signs which mark the way. No resting places, except for fire lookout station and start (or end) of the trail.
KIDS: Ok for kids of any age, just assess the whole distance and elevation. You may walk only half of the trail to the lookout station.
NB mobile networks don’t work at the beginning of the trail until certain height is reached.
