Itinerary description
Absolutely fantastic surroundings but an absolute joke on the other hand! Officially closed from 2014, with closed gates (on southern side) and warnings about penalty in place. But yet, everyone goes there - staff is there just to tell you that if you jump over a locked gate, you’re responsible for yourself. Need plenty of water&food and hiking boots to survive this difficult hike, but people still get down there in flip flops and little children. We came from a free car park on the northern side and took a completely abandoned, old shepherd’s trail - terribly overgrown but very rewarding. We were on our own for most of the day - thank fuck for that, as the mainstream tourists are doing my head in!

Non so quando sia stato aperto per la prima volta, fatto sta che dopo la prima discesa, il sentiero si perde nel bel mezzo del niente. Non può essere seguito, se non a costo di rischiare di sfracellarsi sotto. Il cosiddetto sentiero infatti non solo è coperto per una parte dall'erba, ma è veramente pericoloso.
