Itinerary description
Track starts from upstairs to downstairs canyon with beautiful lakes and waterfall at the lowest point. Route is relatively short but still with high gradients on the way back. Total length both ways no more then 5 km or if you travel on main track only about 3.8 km. Tourist boots is highly recommended since rocks are sharp and slippery with many small rocks. After good swimming in lakes remember that way back is demanding one.

Nice trail with great views of the canyon and the pools below. At the parking on top, gate is closed with warnings since 2014 but enterprising sicilians have installed permanently some milk boxes to allow you to easily climb over the fence. Good shoes (running shoes are ok) are required since path is rocky and steep. At the bottom, by the river, rocks can be wet and very slippery.
