Itinerary description
Shady and quiet walk through (abandoned) fields alongside a dry riverbed. Large variety of flowers (5 types of orchids) and insects. Traces of human presence through the ages everywhere; hundreds of tombs in the canyon walls, caves, troglodyte houses, ruins of ancient farms, a huge stone cistern,... the path with signpost villagio rupestre is particularly pretty as it is situated high on the cliff and passes alongside many tombs and rock houses. Parking at the museum and tombs cave which I didn´t visit.

No, you d'ont have to enter the cave to do the walk. The entrance of the cave is not free though.
