Itinerary description

This walk is part of a longer walk from Castlemaine to Vaughan Springs. It's a great walk to do in winter or when it's rainy or muddy in Melbourne, because the Castlemaine area tends to be sunnier and drier.

The walk is not hard and passes old water channels used for mining and the former Spring Gully mine.

Remember to watch your footing if you head off the trail - there are abandoned mineshafts in the area.

Enjoy!
