Itinerary description

Over 11 miles, sometimes the trail vanishes so GPS helps. Poorly maintained with some thickly overgrown manzanita. Outstanding views of Shasta, Shastina, Black Buttes, Castle Crags, Strawberry Valley, Lake Siskiyou, broad valleys, maybe Mount Lassen and even to Sacramento.
