Itinerary description
Nice short hill walk with very rewarding views over the Connemara and nearby Twelve Bens and Maamturks mountain ranges.
Park the car at the church and walk up the path to the cemetery. Pass the cemetery on the left and go through a gate. After the gate follow a ridge-like feature to the west. At the end of this ridge, at height 200m, head north for the top. This last 100m ascent is rather steep on slippery grass and rocks. Easiest is to follow some gully-like features to the top; first NNE until 250m and then NNW. Same way down as up. Stay away from the east side which has some steep rock bands.
