Itinerary description
A walk that starts in the Mermeleiro park just outside Murches and goes over the brushland toward Pisāo and back on the very easily walkable Trilho das Vinhas. It is an easy walk but there is one place you'll squeeze through a gap in a fence.
The environment after turning left towards Zambujeiro (second intersection photo) is low brush and has no shade, so make sure you are equipped for that if it is hot and sunny.
Later you'll go past the delightful vegetable gardens of Quinta do Pisāo, so if you have space you can either buy or pick some fresh vegetables.
After the walking around the lands of the Quinta, the route goes south and joins the latter stages of the Trilho das Vinhas - a maintained path that goes all the way from the Quinta to the center of Cascais. This route only uses part of it, however, as it goes past the starting point.

Auf ungefähr der hälfte des Weges sind wir auf einen Privatweg gestoßen. Von freilaufenden Hunden würden wir auch am weitergehen gehindert. Ein stück zurück an der Gabelung links hat uns ein nicht wirklich offizieller Weg wieder zurück auf den Hauptweg geführt. Das macht etwas 1,5 km mehr.
