Itinerary description

A delightful walk - mainly through superb beech forest - to one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Pyrenees. This part is popular and can be a bit too busy but carrying on uphill along the gr10 takes you into quiet pastures, snaking rivers and tranquil forests as well - and the real unsung highlight of the walk - the sublime green reflecting pool of Etang de Guzet which is ringed by forest and one of lake jewls of the Pyrenees. Can be a good family walk with older kids and teens.
