Dependiendo de la condición física y de cómo vayan de agua los arroyos que bajan del glaciar será posible o imposible acercarse a las cascadas y seguir ascendiendo. Tiene bastantes partes empinadas. Acercarse a la cascada Shdugra (Mazeri) supone rodear el repecho o rodearlo además de cruzar arroyos.
