Itinerary description
Manejar hasta Chicá entrando por la vía del acceso al Parque Nacional Campana.
Aparentemente había llovido mucho el día anterior por lo que había mucho lodo en la primera mitad del recorrido. La segunda mitad del camino hacia la cascada está en malas condiciones, con el pasto alto y no está marcado casi nada.
Recomendaría ir con un guía (desconozco donde haya uno) o en ausencia de este llevar un GPS con el trayecto guardado porque el sendero se pierde entre la hierba en la mitad mitad del recorrido.
Llevar botas y un hiking pole preferiblemente, por lo menos 2 litros de agua por persona y repelente de insectos. Hay cobertura de celular en la mayor parte del recorrido.

Drive to Chica town entering the access road to the Campana National Park.
Apparently it had rained a lot the day before so there was a lot of mud in the first half of the trail. The second half of the trail to the waterfall is in poor condition, with high grass and almost nothing is marked.
I would recommend going with a guide (I do not know where there is one) or take a GPS with the saved tracklog because the path is lost in the grass in the middle of the route.
Wear hiking boots and take a hiking pole preferably. 2 liters of water per adult and insect repellent. There is cell phone coverage for most of the trail.

Perfect Sunday morning hike. Last few 100 meters to get to the cascade are technical and not well marked. Take your time on the slippery rocks.
