Cascada de Jorox
This walk starts in the small hamlet of Jorox, which is just past Alozania on the A366.
A few minutes after passing Alozania you will come to the viewing point Mirador de Jorox. As soon as you pass this take the first turning sharp left and then right to get to the parking area. There is plenty of parking here.
The walk starts from here.
It is a short linear walk, gently downhill to the waterfall La Cascada de Jorox. It is a nice and quiet spot for a picnic or swim.
I tried to make the walk circular using the old paths back to the hamlet, but we were told the land was private property, so we had to go back up to the parking area.
The path going downhill was a bit rocky in places with one little steep section, but nothing to worry about.
It’s worth incorporating the Cruz de Jorox via el Nacimiento as they are both short walks.
