Itinerary description
This route offers an alternative to a 850 metre section north of Los Baños in both the Los Baños and La Utrera Circular routes in Casares Walks. The section is picturesque but difficult in parts. This easier alternative follows a road which runs parallel to the river but which is further away from it.
For those travelling south on the Los Baños route, this alternative route continues along the road rather than diverting towards the river at 30 S 296998 4030962.
For those travelling north, for example on the La Utrera Circular, come up from the Baths to the gpx trail and continue north. Where the road branches at 30 S 297086 4030348, take the left turn through the gateposts. The alternative merges with the original route at 30 S 296998 4030962.
For those travelling south on the Los Baños route, this alternative route continues along the road rather than diverting towards the river at 30 S 296998 4030962.
