This walk is in between Coin and Pizarra.
The starts at the parking area behind the Rio Grande restaurant which has been unused for many years. The walk is through open countryside with a gentle incline, until we reach the top and then it’s downhill on a reasonable track.
It’s then another incline up to the bridge over the A355 and back out into open countryside to meet the acequia track that circles around the village of Villafranco.
You then pass pass through the tunnel under the A355 and then turn onto the old Coin/Zalea drovers track and it’s all downhill to the Rio Grande.
The last part of the walk is alongside the river and back to the starting point.
