Itinerary description
Day 10. Carronadavderg 301m, Crohaun 484m and Croughaun Hill 391m, Waterford, Eire (Marilyns)
On many of the peak bagging/outdoor websites I perused for this trip I noted there were very few route descriptions regarding ascents of the lesser known Irish Marilyns. This also applied to the availability of gpx files. I will therefore add relevant information and files that hopefully will provide assistance to future hikers/peakbaggers.
Carronadavderg 301m, South of Dungarvan.
I will keep it simple. Parking for 1/2 vehicles at start point, go through the gate and just go straight up the track to the masts 1km away. Go to the right of the masts and you will find the trig point. Easy.
Parking: Yes, track entrance on back road..
Route: Rough track. Rained so no views.
Stats: 1.9km, 104m height gain in 24mins.
