HARROGATE UCI YORKSHIRE CIRCUIT RACE [02/27/2022]

GENERALITIES
- Today the inclement weather led us to do a race on a treadmill.
- We chose Zwift's YorkShire World, which has six circuits and within it, the so-called HARROGATE UCI WORLD CIRCUIT, designed for a cycling competition in 2019
- The New Technologies applied to sports training and practice are gaining popularity.
- Today's training has been fun and suffered at the same time, it made us break sweat with little time in the race, raise our heart rate, watts,...
: UCI HARROGATE CIRCUIT 2019
- Route implemented in the YorksHire World of Zwift on the occasion of a competition organized in 2019 by the UCI (International Cycling Union), well worked, with well achieved effects.
- This world has six routes, of which today we traveled the first of them.
- It is a circuit 13.31 km long and with a drop of 245 m,
- The circuit can also be done in reverse, as many times as desired, and combined with other routes through the old county of York.
- Difficulty level: low, 5 out of 5.
HISTORIC YORKSHIRE COUNTY
- Located in the North of England, one of the largest in the United Kingdom.
- Composite name of York and shire (county of York),
- It is a fairly large county (24,000 km2) and with 5 million inhabitants who are called Yorkshireman or Yorkshirewoman as a name.
- Its ham, York ham and Yorkshire Terrier dogs are famous. Also noteworthy are its three National Parks, enchanted castles, an abbey and a World Heritage garden, as well as a Gothic cathedral with the largest stained glass windows in the world...
- Today it no longer has a legal or administrative existence, but it retains its old customs, such as the symbol of the county: a white rose typical of the House of York.
