Carrbridge's most famous landmark is the old cargo horse bridge, of which the town is named. The bridge, built in 1717, is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands. He was severely damaged in the "muckle spate" of 1829 that left him in the condition seen today. It is now unstable and recommended only to be seen from afar.
Glencharnoch Wood is a 14.7ha site located just outside the town of Carrbridge, between the town, the main north-south rail line and the Landmark Forest Adventure Park.
