This is a great walk. There is a good map/guide available from Queensland National Parks. When we walked the area was in drought and once out of the gorge the only water points were at the official campsites. There is a very nice (but unofficial and no water) clifftop campsite on the Eastern escarpment (it is at the most Easterly point on the track). This could be used as a campsite on the last night.
