Ordnance Survey Discovery Sheets 74 and 75.Take the R665 heading west from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary towards Ardfinnan and turn left onto the R671 (Signposted Youghal and Ballymacarbry).After a few hundred metres the walk commences at the entrance to the forest on your left at S184 193. Ample parking available at information point.Walk partly follows a section of the East Munster Way and is mostly on forest paths, with a short stretch on quiet public roads and another stretch on open mountain. Be aware that the walk crosses two streams. Should you wish to avoid these, head left into the forest just before the stream and descend to the roadway. Some of the track is above and parallel to the Glenary River. Watch out for sightings of deer and hare.
