Itinerary description
Ordnance Survey Discovery Sheets 74 and 75.Take the R665 heading west from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary towards Ardfinnan and turn left onto the R671 (Signposted Youghal and Ballymacarbry).After a few hundred metres the walk commences at the entrance to the forest on your left at S184 193.Walk partly follows a section of the East Munster Way and is mostly on forest paths, with a short stretch on quiet public roads and another short stretch on open mountain. Some of the track is above and parallel to the Glenary River. Watch out for sightings of deer.
