Itinerary description
Very rewarding, picturesque walk. Some beach walking. There is an intersection just over 2kms in, where you can chose the easier beach route or walk up and over the bluff…we did one each way…easier to find your way if you go over the bluff first properly. Was possibly to get around the beach with just a little rock hopping and wave evasion, despite it being close to high tide when we got through. We went over the Bluff on our return and ascended the sand hill a little early…if following my track, ascend the sand hill a little later to make it easier on yourself. I also did a small, in and out, detour up near the lookout, that took me to a rookery…this can be avoided if you wish.
