Itinerary description
The Cape Point Circuit Hike runs from Cape Point Car Park northwards to the overnight huts, then north-westerly until you reach the beaches. You then follow the road until you get to the Cape of Good Hope. Climb the stairs and head across the cliff faces until you complete the hike. As an optional extra take the stairs down to Dias Beach - it is well worth the detour. The walk is not challenging; however, the first sections require you to do some rock hopping and minor scrambling. The other detour worth taking is at Rooikrans, where there are disused buildings and excellent views.
