English version:
This is one of the countless coastal walks that New Zealand offers, and as usual, this hike is more than the sum of its parts. With a colony of fur seals, a small lighthouse, and cliffs overlooking the sea and mountains, there's plenty for the hiking enthusiast to see.

The walk starts with a small climb where the lighthouse hides in the bushes. I make my way up through a narrow path, but unfortunately, there isn't much to see. More than a concrete block and a tower can be found. The rest of the walk fares much better in that regard, especially the path along the cliffs is beautiful. I gaze upon stunning rocks, cliffs, and a turbulent sea on this rainy day. The plants are also at their greenest, with some lovely shrubs whose names I don't know.

There is also a colony of seals, although the word "colony" might be a bit exaggerated for the limited number of fur seals present here. Nevertheless, it's always beautiful to observe these creatures when they're sleeping or playfully interacting with each other. However, it must be noted that the populations near Kaikoura are significantly larger. In other words, this is a pleasant walk, but not one that stands out significantly from other coastal walks in the vicinity.

The walk starts with a small climb to the top where the lighthouse is hidden in the bushes. I make my way up via a small path, but unfortunately there is not much to see. There is nothing more than a concrete block and a tower. The rest of the walk scores a lot better in that regard and the road along the cliffs in particular is beautiful. I look out at beautiful rocks, cliffs and a stormy sea on this rainy day. The plants are also at their greenest with some beautiful shrubs whose names I don't know.

So there is also a colony of seals, although the word colony may be a bit exaggerated for a limited number of fur seals that are here. Yet it is always nice to watch these creatures when they are sleeping or playfully cheering each other on. However, it must be said that the populations near Kaikoura are a lot larger. In other words, this is a nice walk, but not one that can really distinguish itself from other coastal walks around here.
