Itinerary description
Short hike on Makah Indian Reservation to several nice viewpoints on Cape Flattery, the most northwest point in the lower 48 states. The trail was crowded with tourists on a Saturday in August. Much of the trail is narrow wooden boardwalks. Before hiking the trail, you must buy a recreation permit ($10/vehicle) at the excellent tribal museum in Neah Bay.

"Tourists?" Presumably U.S. tourists craning their necks for a glimpse across the water to a more civilized nation above the 49th parallel, from the pre-U.S. Makah Tribe land. A more humble perspective than here in your native and ancestral lands of DC/MD/VA.
