The best part of the trail is just before reaching the falls, where there is a fantastic view of the canyon from the top of a cliff. Unfortunately, the view from the falls themselves does not make justice to their majesty.

Good hiking. Instead of going and coming back at the end in the Black Pipe Trail, you can do a loop to get back to the parking slot. In any case you don't miss much more. Definetly the highspot of the trail are the Waipo'o Falls at the edge of the Waimea Canyon.
