Itinerary description
I did this track to test out some new boots. 97% dirt track. It was a stinking hot day but there are lots of spots with shady trees along the way. All the steep parts are on the descents but It would probably be interesting in reverse as well although much harder. You'll need decent boots with plenty of grip (mine passed the test :)
Once you pass the Coll de la Ventosa (there's a reason why they call it that, the wind really does blow on the sea side of the mountain) you get to see the other side of Collserola with views to La Mola and Montserrat and beyond. There's lots of variety along the way and you can breathe in the pines and eucalyptus that are scattered about accompanied by the soundtrack of crickets, cicadas and buzzing powerlines.
