We made the first section of the Via Francigena (medieval pilgrimage route to Rome) that runs through the English countryside from Canterbury Cathedral to the port of Dover. A road that runs between meadows, wheat fields and forests dotted with picturesque villages.
Normally the route can be done in one day but, as you can see, at the height of Kingston we turned off towards the hotel where we slept, since we decided to do it in two stages. The next day we resumed the road at the height of Womenswold.
The route is easy, it is well marked and there are hardly any road sections. Highly recommended for a vacation with family or friends. As can be seen in the photos, the English climate is treacherous and, although the first day we had radiant sunshine, the second day it rained all the way, this being the only unfavorable point.

Gracias por la ruta :) Una pregunta, en qué pueblo hicisteis noche?
En un hotelito que se llamaba Broome Park, al otro lado de la autopista justo a medio camino
