<<< English >>> This route has water as protagonist: we went up Yoho River up passing along several waterfalls: Takakkaw Falls, Angels Staircase Falls, Laughing Falls and, finally, the Twin Falls. All are spectacular but the Twin Falls are unique in falling parallel. Another impressive point is the one I have marked as WPT, "Water through the walls". In addition to the waterfalls we can also enjoy two lakes, Duchesnay and Marpole. Particularly striking is the amount of tree trunks sunk in the Marpole lake bottom. It is a little-traveled trail. The Twin Falls Chalet is closed in late June and gives the impression that never opens. There is a picnic area but, of course, the best place to rest is the viewpoint of Twin Falls. At the beginning of the route there is a campground. Most of the route is in shadow and with soft ground except what is called Whaleback, which is rocky with big stones; It is the part that follows the lake Marpole. We tried but in the end decided to retrace our steps.
