Itinerary description
If you want to visit one city on the Yucatan peninsula Campeche is probably the one. Campeche has a historical walled city centre which is quite unique in this region. I thought that this would mean that you could continuously walk on the walls like in Dubrovnik, but this isn't the case. There are a few ports where you can get on the walls, but it only has a limited walking range.
This city walk only visits one as other ports where already closed (alhtough it was even before 5 PM). I also went outside the historical city center for a bit to see a beautiful sunset where the sun disappears in the sea. Afterwards I returned to the historical city centre and did a short visit in Centro Cultural Casa No. 6 which only lasted 15 minutes or so.
