Itinerary description
Path in the central part of the Campanito and Sambughetti mounts Natural Reserve, along the Nebrodi chain in Sicily. The path begins from the National road SS117 and arrives on the top of Campanito Mount over 1500 meters above sea level. The first part of the path runs across an area with meadows and tree, then arrives near the two little lakes. The second part goes upstair inside the beech and pine wood, meets the "nivarula cave" and reaches the Campanito peak with a little shelter in marvelluos position. From the shelter you can appreciate a vaste landscape on all the Sicily, with the Eolian Island in the northern part, far on the horizon.
