Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav is a city in the Czech Republic belonging to the district of Praha-východ, just outside Prague, in Central Bohemia.
It was established in 1960 by the merger of the two municipalities of Brandýs nad Labem and Stará Boleslav, located respectively on the left and right banks of the Elbe River.
