Itinerary description
Get a bus to mata redonda. You can catch one at the terminal Cl. 6 #15-22, not a very nice area so go straight to the terminal and get in the bus.
Ask the driver that you go to Mata Redonda, if not he’ll take you all the way to Choachi.
Start from mata redonda, follow the trail is pretty straight forward. It took me 3 hours and is descending so it is not too exhausting.
You’ll end in the road to Choachi. Wait for the bus they will come. If you just want to go back to bogota, wait the bus in the other side of the road.
