Itinerary description
Durante los días 4 al 9 de septiembre 2009 hemos hecho la prolongación de El Camino de Santiago, desde Compostela a Fisterra a Muxía. Esta es la sexta u última etapa(de 6) - la visita a La Virgen de la Barca. Una experiencia muy agradable. Tuvimos la suerte de tener un tiempo estupendo, mucho viento y la mar muy brava.La comida en Muxía inmejorable.
From the 4th to the 9th of September 2009 we walked the Prolongation of the Camino de Santiago (The Way of St. James). This is the sixth and last leg (of 6) from Fisterra a Lires - our visit to the Virgin of the Boat (a lovely story, too long to tell here - look it up on the internet). The weather was beautiful, windy with very rough seas. The food in Muxia was excellent. We used the services of Bono Iacobus organised by the Regional Government of Galicia who arranged the accommodation in Casas Rurales (Country Houses)and the transport to and from the Camino. We do not hesitate in recommending their services www.turgalicia.es
